Project summary: The project "Development of interactive wooden info points with NFC and QR technology" is aimed at developing an innovative IoT solution that enables simple, fast and affordable access to digital information in physical space. The project includes the development of interactive information points made of Slavonian oak, equipped with NFC and QR technology, which allow content to be updated without the need for an internet or electrical connection. The key activities of the project include hiring professional staff, purchasing microcomputers and sensors, and creating promotional materials, with the aim of increasing the market readiness of the products and strengthening the competitiveness of the company GUIDE for YOU doo.
Purpose of the project: The purpose of the project is to respond to the identified problem of inefficient, expensive and environmentally unsustainable ways of providing information in physical space, which still rely heavily on printed materials or technologically demanding digital solutions inaccessible to small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutions. At the same time, there is a pronounced need in the tourism, cultural and public sectors for flexible, simple and sustainable digital information solutions that do not require advanced technical infrastructure or specialized knowledge.
The project develops an innovative IoT solution in the form of interactive wooden info points with NFC and QR technology, which enable quick and intuitive access to digital content, easy information updating, and reduced operational and environmental costs.
The implementation of the project strengthens the digital and green transition of businesses and the public sector, increases the availability of information to end users, and encourages the sustainable and technology-based growth of the innovative company GUIDE for YOU doo, while creating the foundation for further scalability of the solution and expansion into the domestic and international market.
Project objectives and results: The aim of the project is the development and technological improvement of interactive wooden info points with NFC and QR technology. The implementation of the project will ensure the employment of professional staff and the procurement of necessary equipment, which will enable testing and demonstration of the system in an operational environment. The result of the project is a market-ready, sustainable and scalable IoT solution that contributes to the digital and green transition and increases the competitiveness of companies.

Brief description of the project
The SPIN PIT project is focused on research, development and validation of an innovative digital tool called PIT - "Preparation and Implementation Tool", which represents a high-tech solution in the field of production technologies, ICT solutions and models for Industry 4.0. The tool is based on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and enables almost complete automation of segments of activities in the preparation, implementation and post-project period of projects.
The PIT digital solution is designed as an interactive platform that enables more efficient planning, implementation and monitoring of projects – especially those co-financed from European sources, but also other types of development and investment projects. The system will offer complete digitalization of processes, automatic documentation generation, intelligent assistance via AI chatbots and a database of experts available to users in real time.
The PIT tool represents an innovation on the global market because there is currently no system that uses artificial intelligence to analyze and create preparatory and implementation project documentation to this extent.
Project objectives
General objective of the project: To contribute to structural changes in regional economies through the development of new products and services in niches of higher added value, i.e. business diversification and the development of new innovative products within the priority niches of the RLVs of Adriatic, Pannonian or Northern Croatia, and to encourage the resolution of key social challenges in these regions.
Specific project objectives:
• Increasing and intensifying research and development activities with the aim of developing products in the S3 area that are innovations on the global market
• Increasing competitiveness and sustainable growth and development
Expected project results
An innovative AI tool PIT – Preparation and Implementation Tool, accessible via computers and mobile devices, will be developed and validated, which fully digitalizes the preparation, implementation and post-project period of projects, reduces human errors and accelerates the cooperation of all stakeholders. The tool includes five modules, including preparation, implementation, public procurement, reporting and an expert base, and will reach a high level of technological maturity and be protected by appropriate forms of intellectual property. The project contributes to environmental protection, increasing the efficiency and digital maturity of companies, and better coordination and implementation of development projects at the local and regional level. The project will strengthen the cooperation of the members of the SPIN strategic partnership, increase their research and innovation capacities and create a foundation for the further development of products with a high level of added value and a reduced environmental footprint.

Brief description of the Project:
The GUIDE for YOU platform is intended for the tourism sector, i.e. all stakeholders in the tourism sector (guests/tourists on the one hand, service providers on the other hand, and administrators on the third party) and serves as a channel between the end user and providers of attractive content offered at the guest's destination. The platform consists of a mobile application, web and administrator applications, and enables personalized access to the tourist, provides verified information in one place, shortens the time for researching tourist destinations, and represents an excellent opportunity for all providers of tourist services (accommodation, cultural, catering and others) to be presented to the guest, depending on his preferences and selection of interest groups. It is intended for all legal and natural persons who want to increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of the destination or accommodation itself, and for the guest who wants to create ideal conditions for their own experiences in the place where they are. Due to its functionalities, easy access and interoperability, the platform is very widely applicable and easy to use worldwide.
The key functionalities of the platform are:

– Translation into other foreign languages
– Personalized itinerary
With the completion of the project implementation, an innovative platform was developed which:
• saves guests from wandering and wasting time researching and collecting all information, an application with which guests will have all verified information in one place,
• a great opportunity for all owners of accommodation facilities to impress guests by making it easier to choose and find interests during their stay, all in order to create an unforgettable stay for them by recommendation.
The RESULTS of the project proposal are:
• 1 innovative platform GUIDE for YOU developed (TRL8)
• 1 intellectual property protection completed in the European market
• 2 training sessions completed (4 employees trained)
